I’ve been using a Meguiars wash mitt for a couple of years. And it has served me very well.
However, I recently treated myself to one of these CG Chenille mitts … and I love it.
Nice and soft.
But so so soooo absorbent. It holds so much water (car shampoo). Its almost like carrying a gallon of shampoo in your hand. Consequently, each dip into the wash bucket goes twice as far on the car.
The only think better than this mitt would be two of them … one for each hand, lol 🙂

I will buy these again. Meets all of the criteria advertised and if you watch the price you can pick up a deal at times. Good product. Through them in the washer afterwards and voila, new again.

Very satisfied with this product. My favorite mitt to date.

you can get at autozone for a fraction of the price. it works and there is nothing special about it vs other brands. microfiber is microfiber. (i have a ceiling fan cleaner which has the same “microfiber noodle things”) so yeah get this if you want to buy the name or dont. i’d probably return it if i could and get a cheaper microfiber one but since ive used it i probably cant return mine.
—an Anecdote…
I recall the apple cleaning wipe which was dissected on ifixit and discovered to literally be a microfiber cleaning cloth imprinted with the apple logo lol

Have been using an old towel for years. Main issue is washing low on the car. Once the towel hits the ground I will not use it for fear of marring the paint. Son let me use his. Also saw a high end auto shop (think Ferrari,Lamborgini etc) using one to wash cars after work performed. It works great. Holds a lot of soap/water

Some of the glove does come apart but they are great. I ordered another set for a backup

Some cool microfiber towels as mits. These things are perfect to take to the self car wash stations and use em on newly fresh paint

The mitt has a liner that you place your hand into. It’s very hard to rotate your hand to use both sides of the mitt when it’s wet.

I bought a few car wash mitts that I use for dusting and REALLY love them. I don’t like the foreign chenille dust mitts, as the fingers are too sparse. I happened to see this–in MAGENTA no less– and HAD to have it. Little did I know when I received it, it was freakin’ huge! When I opened the package, put in on my hand, then my forearm, up over my elbow–yikes, the thing went all the way up my arm! Anyway, it’s too large and heavy for what I need it for, so I’ll be cutting it in half and making my own design of dust mitts. The fingers are really dense, so I guess it would also be good to wash a car, LOL!!
